I need help diagnosing my PC NOT LETTING itself update windows

Hello all, I am having a problem wereby my laptop is not allowing windows to update. That is the updater will not run.

NOTE: I READ THE PREVIEW MATERIAL AND DID NOT THINK IT APPLICABLE TO MY SITUATION SINCE I DO NOT GET ANY ERROR MESSAGES REGARDING SPECIFIC UPDATES, IT WONT EVEN START THE PROCESS SO I AM MAKING THIS POST. iF ADMIN FEELS THE DIAG TOOL FROM MICROSOFT IS APPLICABLE I WILL INSTALL AND RUN THE TOOL FIRST OTHERWISE,

My laptop gives a message that i am sure the Win7 forums skilled people can help me figure out the issue. Please see screenshot

I ran check disk and restarted the laptop but it will still not run the updater.

And it worked perfect and it fixed my problem.

Put yourself in for a couple hrs of OT my boy. And have an excellent Xmas sir.
