KB3177467 screwed up (no OFFLINE update allowed after it) HOW TO FIX?

    question's in the title:

the KB3177467 update (service stack that supersedes the previous one KB3020369) was rigged so that when adding it offline to a wim (ie. slipstreaming) it's impossible to add another msu update offline afterwards

which means that when adding the convenience rollup to a fresh install.wim, it's impossible to start with KB3177467 update (instead you have to settle for the old KB3020369, and avoid the new one, then add the rollup & other updates)

out of curiosity I opened the KB3177467 msu with 7zip then checked the upload.mum file: the reason why KB3177467 blocks any following offline update is because of the exclusive="true" line in that file

now obviously the only logical explanation for this, is that some prankster at Microsoft decided to piss off users (that's why no other explanation can be googled up)

so my question is, is it possible to fix this by simply changing the exclusive="true" line to exclusive="false"? or is something else necessary to turn KB3177467 into a normal update like KB3020369 ?
