logs are located:

C:\Windows\Logs\CBS

zip/compress CheckSUR.log and CBS.log and attach to next post please.

Have logs. It will take me a while to prepare fixes, with 2 SFCFixScripts. Hopefully I'll get to it later tonight.

I'm thinking about not using Avast anymore if it causes a lot of errors. Here's the CheckSUR.log after reinstalling Avast, restarting the PC, and running SURT.

Have SFCFix.exe by Niemiro on desktop
Extract Repairs.zip to desktop
Run below in this order:
Run 1st
Run 2nd

Drag & Drop
SFCFixScript onto SFCFix.exe by Niemiro
reboot
Run SURT again and post logs

In regards to Avast, after I corrected similar errors to yours, SURT has been clear of Avast errors. If you decide to utilize another free AV, I'd recommend Bitdefender free.

Okay, I will do that. It's 6:00 PM Central Time in USA right now. I just downloaded your attachment. Thank you again for helping me so much, Snick, and for the antivirus comparison sheet too.
