Non-Genuine Win7 Notice
Hi...a couple of months ago my wife's computer crashed. The Win7 O/S on this computer had to be reinstalled. It never dawned on me that this would trigger a reverification of Product Key. She started getting the lower right hand corner of the screen message that this is not a genuine copy. I thought 'no problem' and started stepping thru the prompts. When I enter the Product Key it wasn't acceptable. I tried it again with same results. I've tried to make phone contact but (see snippet) there isn't phone support. Now to make the problem more complex I'm U.S. living in Honduras and everything is done by cell phone and cell signals from towers can be a problem...and it is for me since I live in a mountainous area. That means to make a call I have to leave my house (where my computer is located) and drive 5km to where I can get signal...only to learn the number my tech friend gave me will not work either. I can't access Windows to start thru the Activation process all over again. What can I do?
I'm concerned about the time limit M/S gives to resolve this issue. Thanks for your help!
