    Hi ctzulu,

Have you looked in the startup menu [click Start > in the search box type msconfig > press Enter > click Startup tab] to see what is loading at startup?

    I hope this helps!

One by one, unplug any usb devices that are always plugged in. Restart each time with one ubs device unplugged, the rest still plugged in. This will tell you if a usb device (ie, external hard drive) may be having issues, and if so, which one.

    Hi

take it your dual booting, its possible the Easeus bootloader is causing the problem.
Oldest windows OS first, so w7 - w8 - other.

    Hi All,
    Greets,
    Sir(s),
    @ctzulu : Sir,
    1. 10 minutes windows startup time
The first thing to do is of course as said by sir Paul Black. Just try to find out what are the things loading automatically at startup ? & which one you can drop ?
    2. Just long startup, anything else ?
    3. its possible the Easeus bootloader is causing the problem !
    (a) @torchwood :Seems to be a good find! But What its actually sir ? Would you like to brief ?
    (b) @ctzulu : Sir, what he means probably : do you have a multiboot system ? Did you ever have a booting/starting problem & made a boot/efi repair with EaseUS... ? And the repaired bootloader is the problem ? Just see your lines : windows shows 3 minutes blackscreen , then eraseus bootloader .. then 7 minutes loading sign before showing the lockscreen
    (c) If everything is working well and just a long startup ? Then the problem is only with the boot ?
    (d) Did you add a boot menu entry to boot directly in EaseUS recovery environment ?
    4. Unplug/eject all the external media ( pen drives, external harddisks, CD DVD, etc.) and boot in the OS. ( Inspired by sir Zoloft )

    Thanks & Regards. ...
