    Errors 80073712,8000FFFF & 80070490 when installing multiple updates


    I need assistance resolving errors 80073712,8000FFFF & 80070490 when installing multiple Windows updates.

    Windows 7 Home Premium
    Sony VAIO Laptop

    I have run SURT and "sfc /scannow".

    How to See Your System Specs with "System Info"

    Here's your missing Manifests
    CheckSUR.zip

    Please unzip & copy them to: C:\Windows\Temp
    Run SURT tool again
    When it completes, post CheckSUR.log

    Couple more steps after this for component and Avast errors.

    Hi. You could try downloading them one at a time. Sometimes one needs to be installed before the others will install.

    Yes, as hael123 stated, prerequisites are sometimes necessary, and Win Update doesn't recognize that either!

    What updates can't you install?

    Sometimes safe mode works for update installs if your AV or other programs are blocking.

    When you first start your computer, immediately begin repeatedly pressing <F8>, either safe mode or safe mode with networking.
