    Here's your missing files
    Download CheckSUR.zip
    and extract files to desktop
copy and paste CheckSUR folder to C:\Windows\Temp
Run SURT again and post CheckSUR.log only

Thanks for looking at the log files, and the explanation. I didn't realize that there wasn't just one single exe file to install the updates.

I'll do the next step thanks.

    Hi Alicia J,

Did you do what Snick asked you to do, and if so, did it work?
You still need to run SURT again and post the CheckSUR.log only.

    I hope this helps!

Ok I deleted old CheckSUR folder and put the one download, extracted from your link into Windows temp folder. Then I ran SURT. I have attached the CheckSUR.log

All those avast errors are what led me to believer that Avast could potentially be the problem. However, I'll leave it to Snick to help you with it since he's much more knowledgeable than I am.

Thank you for your help wither 2. It certainly didn’t hurt to fix Avast.

Is your problem resolved? The log doesn't show that Avast is fixed.

I don't know if my problem is solved. I installed the Netframework manually. Some exe files ran and some didn't. I uninstalled Avast, ran ccleaner, and installed it again.

I really don't know what to do next.

Question is- did you get any errors when you installed the .net framework?
