I asked if you had a link to the 32bit.

My apologies for overlooking your question. I've asked about a 32 bit patch. I'll get back to you when I get an answer.

No need to apologize. You're helping me and I appreciate it. You'll never guess what happened today! I set the Netbook Windows update from don't download or install, to download and let me choose when to install updates. Then after awhile 3 updates for Office 2010 were listed as ready to install. I checked one to install and it worked. So did the other two. Whew.

I hope that's the end of my update issues. I'll find out when the next round are available. Thanks for all your help.

You're welcome. I was going to ask you if you could install the latest updates but you answered that question. I'm still waiting on an answer in regards to the patch since it concerns Outlook.

I'm told that, as far as the people I asked know, a problem with the Outlook update didn't occur on a 32 bit system. I wouldn't worry about it. Let's see if you get a problem with the next round of updates.

The error code here (80200024) means that BITS is trying to download the code, but getting nowhere - once the other updates are installed, do a Check for Updates and see what happens.

Thanks for jumping in here. I figured you might when I posted the link to this thread in that other thread. I had to look up BITS. Learn something new every day.

If my memory serves me correctly, BITS means background intelligent transfer service.

I checked for updates today and it said there weren’t any.
