    .NET Framework 4 Error (0x80070643)

    Hi,

I keep having problems with installing and configuring Windows Updates via DISM ++ (after successfully running Repair install). Upon rebooting my PC, Windows is not able to configure updates and never progresses more than 15%. Then it reverts changes.
I tried to bypass with standalone installer.
System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB947821) [October 2014] failed.
I tried also standalone installation of .NET framework 4. (Before that, I tried the .NET Framework clean-up tool, but this didn't resolve the situation). No luck. Attached is the Installation Log.

In addition CBS log is very large, 140 MB. Over the previous two weeks I think I tried all solutions on various online sources. none worked. I have Avast AV, and it did not found any virus or malware.

I am reluctant to reinstall Windows. Is it possible that there is some reg file missing, which prevents installing updates and restoring PC to earlier date...? I mean, I performed Repair Install a couple of days ago...what should I do?

I've just installed System Update Readiness Tool. Here are the logs. CBS log is too big, 160 MB, so I copied the beginning and the end of it in the new text document.

    Hello Steampunk7,

had you re-activated Windows since doing the repair install? Maybe reactivation is preventing Windows from updating. Check that your copy of Windows has been properly activated.

    Otherwise, try the Microsoft Fixit
