Yes, you will need an internet connection to download the iso file. The iso file is quite big, so it might take a while to download.

If you download the iso on an xp machine, you will need an isoburner to burn it to dvd. Burning is different from copying.

Windows 7 optional update suddenly removed aero effects
I installed this optional Windows Update (a huge mistake I now realize) labled "nVidia - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3, Graphics Adapter WDDM2.0 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080", and after restarting the computer, I suddenly lost the aero effects to my...

Greetings! I have Acer Aspire 5750G. My current BIOS version is 1.07. The latest version is 1.12. There are a few versions in between. Should I do incremental updates and reach 1.12 or should I just go direct to 1.12? Many Thanks!

Has a Windows 7 update removed good features?
I installed Windows 7 and have been generally impressed and pleased with the changes. I don't know about the technical aspects, so such things as the ability to 'snap' windows into certain sizes and the new task bar previews are the main focus of such positive comments. HOWEVER... Unless I...
