Hi rick33,
If it is re-installing fom the DVD you made then it HAS SP1 because the ISO included SP1! The install you are performing is a clean install and will therefore delete everything previously there and replace it with a clean fresh install of Win 7 SP1! You probably DON'T need a replacement battery. You can test out the battery when you have finished installing Win 7 by removing the power lead! |

There are a few versions in between. Should I do incremental updates and reach 1.12 or should I just go direct to 1.12? Many Thanks! |

Has a Windows 7 update removed good features? I installed Windows 7 and have been generally impressed and pleased with the changes. I don't know about the technical aspects, so such things as the ability to 'snap' windows into certain sizes and the new task bar previews are the main focus of such positive comments. HOWEVER... Unless I... |
