    sorry no RolandJS the AutoSURTx64 EXE can not be emailed to you directly as it is a big 540Mb size file.
    just click on the link to the AutoSURTx64 file and you will be able to download & save it onto your computer (unless somehow your web browser is blocking that cloud site)

    AutoSURTx64 => AutoSURTx64 [use Google not I.E.].

    [1] Click the link above.
    [2] It will automatically download. If not, click the AutoSURT64.exe.

    I hope this helps!

    I think school firewall blocks, will use google chrome at home, thanks Paul!
    BTW, I downloaded your BATs and the two html pages of instructions, saved on my local HDD as PaulBlackSevenForums folder :) And, at home, will do the wusa.exe commandlines, saved those also.

    We used to block those sort of downloads [via Firewall rules] when I worked for an Academy, mainly to try and stop the students exchanging pirated software and pornography etc.

    Paul, I finally tried at home with windows 7 google chrome -- succeeded, even my chromebook failed. You might have to go to your onedrive and clean up any minor mess I made in there. Let me know if I left any stuff trying at work android and my chromebook, thanks!

    I am glad it worked for you!
    It is Snick One Drive. You couldn't have messed anything up as you don't have Admin rights to it!

    Paul, am going to need those dism commands to force windows to accept the last round of updates, these aren't to avoid, rather these have to be installed -- especially kb4494417, or is it 4474429 :)
