How do I force uninstallation of windows updates?

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium and kb3161102 and kb:3020370 break my pc but it's not possible to uninstall them properly.
What happens is that every other time my pc wakes from sleep mode windows gets errors, causes programs to behave erratically, BSOD or the pc refusing to wake at all.

I tried wusa but nothing happens. I asked on the microsoft forums and no one replied.

Is there any way to forcefully uninstall these updates?
If there is no direct way to uninstall them, can I do something like delete the files the updates use so they don't work anymore?

    Hi Megidolaon,

You can uninstall via elevated CMD (administrator)
Click in searchbox type cmd, when it appears, right-click it > choose Run as Administrator
    wusa /uninstall /kb:3161102 /quiet /norestart
    wusa /uninstall /kb:3020370 /quiet /norestart

Yes there is a colon : between kb and number
Copy and paste bold text into CMD, one at a time at the >
You have to use the mouse to paste, CTRL+V doesn't work.

/switches are as the state, and totally optional. Just saves you the hassle of accepting any prompts and then restarting the computer. Restart after you have removed both offending KBs to effectuate the changes you made.

    Happy Computing!

The OP says he tried wusa.

He could try dism++ from bootable media to uninstall the updates.

    Bootable media:

    17514x86.iso
    17514x64-v10.iso

    Hi

those windows updates both address security issues within 2 core operations
sfc scannow and the Winsxs cert files, and in theory should not be un-installed
MS actually state that 3161102 Cannot be uninstalled. A repair install might?
(BUT there is a tool that will remove the associated registry entries - FRST)
I certainly would not remove them.

Going back - what actually makes you think these are the cause of your sleep/BSOD and other problems.
    Sounds more like driver issues.

I would suggest you follow the BSOD instructions and post the results there

    @torchwood
I first noticed the issues last September after having installed most of the updates that Microsoft churned out during summer and early autumn.
I uninstalled every other of the updates I installed at the time and the issues remain.

One more issue I forgot to mention is that every time my pc is crashing from this (BSOD, black screen doesn't go away after sleep mode, etc.) the BIOS will not load but tell me to insert boot media (or something similar) when I restart the pc.
Even if I do that, nothing happens as the BIOS doesn't load at all.

What I have to do to get windows to start again is turn off the power (I got an on/off switch on my coupler strip so it's easy) and leave it off for the pc to completely unload all energy and then turn it back on like a minute later, if I don't wait long enough it's the same and it won't load the BIOS and cannot start.
Never had this either before I installed the updates.

As for checking BSOD codes, I don't think it's that important because I don't BSOD all that often, only in like 1/5th of the cases and not every time my pc wakes from sleep mode it crashes or has issues (roughly a third of the time but the frequency can be random with it happening every time for 3 days and then not again for another 3 days).

But thanks for the link and the tip, I will try to repair install soon and if that doesn't work I'll give FRST a try.

Highlight the OS at the top panel

Click Updates in the left panel. ( If it is not the currently running OS click Open Session )

    Click Update History.

    Tick whatever you want remove.

    Click Remove.
