Thank You so much for all the guidance through Repair Install.
I definitely could not have made it without your expertise.
The 5 out of 8 Updates that balked yesterday.
I went back and applied them 1 at a time and they installed.
I've about had it with Windows Updates
Just wanted to say how much you and your help were appreciated.

Did you try DISM++ before you tried WU Manual? Anyway, sometimes, not that often, you have to install some that were problematic in the past one at a time. If you need any more help, including software, installing it, please pm me or just regular message me in my inbox to chat if you wish.

done from within windows, keeps all your stuff, replaces the OS and fixes it

* If you have retail version key you can go to Microsoft website and download it with valid key however.

Snick, thanks for the proposal, i will do the repair installation, i have for disposition an untouched, original Windows 7 SP1 Ultimate installation ISO, of course the first step will be a full backup of my actual system.
