Ran SURT, SFC Scan, no errors.
Error code 80240016.
Looks like zip size limit is 8.95 - my CBS.zip is 54MB.
Is there an alternative to providing the CBS file?
Attaching screenshots - I counted over 200 failed updates of the Security Monthly Quality Rollup.
No wonder the machine hangs ...

Please post some logs.
CheckSUR.log, CBS.log, location: C:\Windows\Logs\CBS
WindowsUpdate.log location: C:\Windows
If CheckSUR.log is not there, you'll have to run SURT again for new logs.

Thanks Snick - Here you go - cannot access CBS.log - access denied - trying to figure it out ...
I try to access the CBS.log as admin, but get error message invalid path. Is there an alternative method to accessing the CBS.log?

Resetting your components and running the WU Troubleshooter won't correct your problem, unfortunately, and they usually don't.
