    Thanks. Will give that a try later today. I've tried that previously without any luck (prior to ever posting here). Wtll report back when completed.

    Make sure you make a full system image of your drive to external hard drive or (USB Flash minimum) before, even though the repair install creates a backup & you have your 25 character activation key.
    What error message did you receive on your try?
