    Hi

Please run KB947821 (SURT), and see what it fixes, you are missing a few files.
    (link below)
Then try SP1, repost the CBS log when it fails.

    Hi

The CBS log file I have attached earlier, is after SURT (KB947821). I have executed earlier and it didn't help to pass that error message which I am getting while installing SP1.

    Hi skca622,
SURT fixed several errors, however you still have some missing manifests, and cat/mum pairs. I'll locate them for you and post the replacement files and installer in the morning. 1 am here in SW Michigan.

Well morning is into evening by here are your files and installer
I'm always willing to try to help.
    Please download and run AutoSURTx64
Any files and folders that were needed for the install will be removed when AutoSURT completes
Zip and upload the CBS folder that will appear on your desktop when AutoSURT completes

That was easy fix, provide the missing manifests, cat/mum pairs, no partial corrupt installs, SURT installs the files/folders and restores security permissions all with a click.

If you're good to go please mark this thread as solved.

    Happy computing!
