Update KB4519976
Hi this update will not install. Keeps failing with automatic updates. I have tried manually downloading and installing but it still does not install - I keep getting error messages that do not help "this update did not install". I have the pre-requisite updates KB4490628, KB4474419 and KB4516655 already installed.
Any advice or help how to fix gratefully received. The device is a Compaq CQ500 netbook running Win 7 Pro, 1.6GHz Atom processor, 2GB RAM and 160GB hard-drive |

No problem, lets see if a mess.
Your computer non-specs don't help US Morrisman! Mess! No CheckSUR.log in the CBS folders Run AutoSURT64 again please CBS folder should appear on your desktop if there are any zipped/compressed .cab files delete those, if not zip/compress the CBS folder and upload There is a limit of 4MB on zipped/compressed uploads, the .cab are compressed CBS.logs which are too large to include. Hi Bill
I ran AutoSURT64 as you suggested again. The attached image shows what is in the folder. I cannot see a file called CheckSUR.log in the CBS folder. I deleted the CBSPersist files as they are .cab as far as I can tell, zipped the CBS folder and uploaded it here. The computer is a Compaq CQ500 running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit, it has 2MB RAM and a 160GB hard-drive and uses an Intel Atom processor running at 1.6 GHz. Is there any other spec you need? I have uploaded the basic computer spec Is that what you need? Nick ![]() CBS.zip ![]() |

Hi Bill/Snick
As my machine is 32 bit I found a SURT32.exe file. I ran this and it has a CheckSUR file in it (text file) which I have attached. There is also a CheckSUR.persist file which I also attach. Unfortunately when I zipped up the folder with CBS file it came in at over 6MB zipped so cannot upload that. Is the files I've attached here the correct ones you need? It looks like I am missing some packages for some reason Nick |
