    Windows updates KB4512506, KB4474419, KB890830 fail to install on a W

I have read the Windows update Posting Instructions. I am trying to follow the instructions.

I have six computers running Windows 7 Pro. Updates to Windows were applied last night. Five computes updated successfully. The sixth computer failed to update. I tried updating several times. Each time the updates were applied the computer would not reboot properly. When rebooting the message “Windows is loading files” would appear. Then a System recovery option screen appears. It asked me for the type of keyboard ; I accepted the default which was US. Then the recovery process halted with the message:
The digital signature of file Winload.efi cannot be verified.

    No error codes are displayed.
I cannot collect Windows logs because Windows will not let me get to a command prompt so I can collect log files.

Each time Windows applies updates it creates a restore point. I tried to boot to safe mode by pressing F8 so I could get to the restore point. The computer ignored my attempts to do this. I finally had to restore the entire C drive using last night’s backup.

I have searched through Seven forum for answers to this problem. Most of them are at least a year old or older.

    Questions:
Q1.) How do I solve this problem?
Q2.) The updates which I tried to install are KB4512506, KB4474419, KB890830. Which one is causing this problem?

Try installing KB4474419 only first and restart computer, then install other two which worked for me on a 64bit unit with Win 7 Pro.

See this also, it's what I keyed on:

If the updates are cumulative, the latest one has all the previous updates included.

If your computer is blocked in Startup Repair and you can't repair with restore point, there is a good solution.

Start your computer on USB Key with iso of Windows (W7 or W10)

Go to repair your computer > Troubleshoot > command prompt

    In the command prompt:
    Use the command
    bcdboot c:\windows /l en-us

Restart your computer and it's solved

You can now install last KB4474419

You most likely have additional issues that are causing your WU problems.
Simply forcing an update to install isn't the correct path.
Let's see if you have other issues. Please run AutoSURT64 from my OneDrive and post CBS folder that will appear on your desktop, minus the .cab files if there are any. The .cab files are compressed cbs.logs and are too large for upload.
Please remove the .cab files, zip/compress the cbs folder and upload please. May need WindowsUpdate.log, depends!
