Windows Updates ?

I'm about to either do a repair or a new install of Windows 7 and have a couple questions about the update packages found listed in this forum.

First, it seems each month there is a link to two sets of updates. What is the difference between the Security Monthly Quality Rollup update and the Security Only Quality update? Is it possible that the former is not just for only security updates?

If I install Windows 7 including SP1, which monthly update should I begin with for the updates?

Is there a web page that has links to each of the monthly security only rollup updates?

Any other suggestions on approaching the update process welcome.

Thanks for any help.

The Security Monthly Quality Rollup Update is cumulative, and the Security-Only Update is basically standalone. If you go down the Security-Only Update route, you will need to install ALL the Security-Only Update updates for ALL the previous months!
