    Which updates should I avoid?

I want to avoid updates that have the windows 10 stuff in it. Theres also an update that, if you have a newer cpu, it says that your hardware is unsupported, and it runs a program in the background that uses a bunch of ram and cpu. I don't know which update it is tho. I found a list of updates to avoid, I made sure I didn't install any of them, and still had this update.

I know about wufuc, but I'd rather just not install this update in the first place. Or should I just download it and use wufuc anyways? Could wufuc cause any problems? I installed it on my old windows 7 hard drive and i had to activate windows again and i felt like my pc was slower after it, but i could have just been imagining it.

Also after I updated, I did system restore to get rid of them, still had a background program use all my cpu and ram, so I undid the restore but got an error, did system restore again to an even earlier point and everything seemed to go back to normal.

Is my installation messed up tho? Should I just reinstall?
