Windows Updates after Crash and Restore
My Windows has recently crashed. I have successfully restored it from a system disk image. However, the image is 12 months old (I am not very good with backing up :) ). So all the updates for the last 12 months have been lost. I thought I would reinstall them automatically by using the Windows Update Manager (or whatever it's called) in the Control Panel. However, the manager only found updates for the last two months. Initially, they failed to install, and I thought I would need to manually identify, download and install all the updates for the last 12 months - not a very nice prospect. But this morning I woke up and the updates for October and November 2021 were successfully installed.
And now a, perhaps, stupid question. Is this OK? Do I need to do anything else? That is, do I still need to install previous updates starting from December 2020?
