    Updating W7 32 bit Beyond Jan. 2020

On a fresh "upgrade-from-Vista32-bit install," I have managed to get the monthly quality security roll-up from Jan. 2020 installed. I'm just using this 32 bit system to stream radio stations, plus a little (safe) browsing. Using MSE for AV. I used DSIM ++ and Windows update to get this far. I assume the system is more or less up to date, as far as the official EOL updates are concerned.

So, what do I do now? I know you can get further security updates through Simplix, or the Extended Security from Microsoft. My understanding is that the Microsoft updating is a paid product. So I assume I should use Simplix?

Yes, Simplix is the easiest way to get updated.
You can also install future updates for Windows Embedded Standard 7 manually using the ESUBpass v11.

Or just run Simplix every month. Also read on the simplix page about the WA add-on to update DotNet 4.x.
