Cant install an update; W7 says it's installed but it does not appear

    to be.

    It's KB3033929

I have to have it install to installed a 3rd party app. When trying install to install that app, it throws an error saying that KB3033929 is not installed. When I try and install KB3033929, I get a message saying it is already installed.

if I go to Ctrl Panel > Installed Updates, it is not listed there.

Any idea on where to look/what to do?

    Thanks in advance.

    --edit---

Also, the 3rd party app is requiring sha256 support. That is the reason for the KB update. Is it possible I have this sha256 already, and maybe a required service is disabled?

Uninstall KB4474419. It's one of a myriad updates that prevent KB3033929 from installing, but maybe it's the only one of those you happen to have installed.

WARNING: Do not uninstall KB4474419 if the Servicing Stack Update of September 2019 (Servicing stack update for Windows 7 SP1 and Server 2008 R2 SP1: September 10, 2019 - Microsoft Support) or later is installed.

    Instead install KB3125574.

Doesn't make sense as 4569557 is a support article.
