Win 7 Ultimate asking for Activation again but won't Activate

So if it blocked my key that means I cannot restore win 7 at all?

Would I need to do a clean install or could I use a repair from a new win 7 disc? At this point I went and got new parts to build a new computer, might as well. I love win 7 and never had a problem with it until I made that update. I really think that it's picking up on that faulty office program that I don't even care about, going to try to uninstall that just in case, but the truth is it's 2023 I do probably need an upgrade lol. This computer is too old. I'm going to try to keep it as long as it runs, but an updated system won't hurt at all really. Things happen for a good reason. I backed up all my stuff here so I can "play" with this computer in case I crash it lol. So if I run a new win 7 cd on top of mine would that do the repair? Or would I need a clean install?
