Windows 11 2H23 fails, DISM restore fails as well

On a Lenovo laptop, I get error 0x800f0831 when installing the Windows 11 23H2 update. When I try to restore through DSIM RESTOREHEALTH, I get a constant error at 61.3% that restore files cannot be found. Someone any idea how to proceed? Donīt want to do anything drastic now as I need the laptop. DSIM log file attched, look at the date op June 28th.

We do Windows 7 not 11. I suggest that you go here: Windows 11 Forum

This forum is more specialized and technical. very helpful.
That forum (Windows 11 Forum), sounds too much whining, conspiracy theory, , , daily people are posting

    "Windows is stealing my privacy,
"Microsoft apparently hates my Local account,
"Keep Microsoft Out of My Computer,.
"Macrium has let me down... but was it my fault?
    , , ,

    That's really enough.

That is not a description of the Eleven Forum sister-site that I recognise, are you sure you looked at the right one? The one with our Brink as its Administrator? Many members from here are members there too, me and townsbg for a start. You should expect the same level of expert support there as you'd expect here.

I could be on a wrong site. here are links, a simple fact. (and hope this ends the argument between two forums by my post)

No argument from me. Ever since Windows 10 was released there have been an increasing number of posts like these from those who hate 'telemetry' in any form (or just hate Microsoft). Ten Forums has similar rants.

How Do I Completely Disable Windows 10 Telemetry? Solved - Windows 10 Forums

Seven Forums is not immune either.

    Telemetry hidden in Task Scheduler

I don't think they are representative of the vast majority of post on any of these forums, I tend to just tune them out

A lot of people here are just use 7 because we don't like 10+ or for many even 8. If I where you I'd go to 11 forums. I suppose that doesn't mean though that no one here will help.
