    Not allowed to activate Windows

    After a reinstall,I am told ( again ) that Windows is not genuine.I have activated Windows 7 over the phone before,but this time I dont even get the option to activate Windows.I just get a whole lot of rubbish about how Windows 7 is too old and I should switch ( buy ) Windows 11.At the end of all this I get the question "Was this answer helpfull "
    So,it looks like MS DONT want you to have Windows 7 ( no matter how well it is running ) and it looks like they are determined for me to BUY Windows 11.
    So,and advice on how I can get around this ?
    I like Windows 7,it is compatable with a lot more games etc than more recent versions.Thank you in advance

    Enable the TLS 1.2 protocol.

    Update to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 as default secure protocols in WinHTTP in Windows - Microsoft Support

    @torchwood
    I think you have mis-read what my problem is.My instilation of Windows is limited,because MS in their wisdome have decided that Windows 7 is too old now and they "will not let me activate it" I have the original Windows 7 DVD with the serial number etc but there is no option to input thie serial number.I can still copy and paste the results from DX if you want but ,as I said I dont think that can fix my problem.

    I dont see how that will help either.
    I have been running Windows 7 with service pack 2 ever since I bought it and have had no problems.I dont install updates,because IMHO they are a BIG Scam by MS to slow your PC down over time which makes you think you need to buy the latest version of Windows.

    I am not looking to input my serial number. When I start my PC I get a notice saying that "This windows is not genuine " I am supposed to activate Windows by inputting a whole series of numbers that some lady geves me,over the phone.At least that was the option about one year ago,now that option does not exist.I am just told by MS that I should get Windows 11

    Windows can no longer talk to Microsoft servers without TLS 1.2 enabled, but keep on trying.
