    Activation Error

When activating the open lic product I get an Error Code of 0x8007232B which translates to "DNS Name does not exist". I am installing from the image downloaded from the Microsoft License site. Install went fine. Just having a problem with the Activation.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Lonster Hi and welcome

The "open Lic product"? whats that? Also if you are getting DNS name error I suspect it is trying to phone home to check the serial and cannot connect

    Thanks

    Hi there

    1) just go to "Change Product Key"

    2) Enter your key
    3) Activate

    job done.

    Cheers

    Solved

Thanks Jimbo45. This is my first time with the new Open Lic System. They do not make the product keys easy to find if you have not been there before. After you replied it seemed obvious that there must be a key somewhere that I had not seen. Really appreciate the help. Have a great day.

I am having the same problem, but Changing the Activation Key did not solve my issue. I'm still getting an Error Code 0x8007232b message even after trying to activate it with the key that I dug out of the registry (I don't have my documentation with me.) Is there anything else I can do to resolve this?
