Thats a good question...I would recommend to install them now t stop any possible vulnerabilities that malware makers might take advantage over...

Remember that SP1 isn't expecting a public release until November of this year (unconfirmed but looks plausible)...

I would rather stay away from those all in one installers...the updates in the sticky come with download links from Official MS sources

Installation order of list of updates
I saw a post by Noel where he told the OP to install by Date, not KB# which reminded me of a question I've had for quite some time. Are updates generally listed in order of 'Importance' or 'Date' or what? Right now I'm down to 6 updates left to do. They're all .NET Framework from the 7/9/13...

Purging the list of updates I do not want
Hello: Every time I update, I have to check the list of optional updates to see if something of interest has been added to the list of 39 language packs (which I do not need or want). Also, I do not want Live Essentials. Is there any way to make this list of unwanted updates go away so that,...

I don't really want to install them, since they are 50mb each, and couldn't install them since they fail each time I try. Is there a way to tell 7 to stop offering them to me?...
