Window's Update, Crash, Very Slow now.

Ok Let me Fill you in. Got a new Laptop 2 days ago.

    Windows 7 64-bit
    Intel Core 2 Duo T6600
    4GB DDR3 RAM
    400 GB HDD
    Nvidia GeForce GT 230m

First day was Running Nice, Installed Steam, Borderlands, and Ventrilo. They all ran Nice. Started downloading Counter Strike Source, and Went to sleep. Woke up at 4 AM this morning (PST) and my laptop was Frozen (no respond for over 30mins) I shut it down, booted this morning and it was SLOOOW,

Did a system restore to the point before the update, Ran nice for an hour.

Shut down, Booted up, Slow again, then system restored back further. Booted up seemed good for about 5mins then went to a crawl. I watched my processes rise and rise (hit 74 at one point) Its sitting at 67 and can get to slow to even do anything. Im going to restore back to the day I got it, and hope its good, But Im still wondering what happned? And why is it slow, Heres a link to the PC i have:

Toshiba Satellite A505 S6986 16 Widescreen Notebook Computer With Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6600 by Office Depot

Any help would be great. Its really grinding my gears.

    Hi Grecko, Welcome to SF,

You could try the the Troubleshooting Wizard For Windows Update

Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Troubleshooting

Also if that Didn't fix the problem i'm attaching a small utility that would required for the proper functioning of Windows Updates.

    Fix WU.zip

    Hope this helps
