Windows 7 Keep wanting me to install the same update?

    Hi

I have a weird problem. Everytime I load up windows 7 it wants me to install an update. It goes installs it and restarts my computer. For a couple mins it says my computer is up to date but then it all of a sudden wants me to install the exact same update again.

I must have installed it like 20 times now.

All the other updates seem to stick expect this one:

    Code:
Security Update for Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 (KB969856)

    Download size: 235 KB

You may need to restart your computer for this update to take effect.

    Update type: Important

I would try to install the update manually, target the driver and go to the Windows Compatibility Center or the manufacturer website. Here is more information about troubleshooting update issues: Troubleshoot problems with installing updates.

    Uninstall the original installation, first.

    add/remove programs. [x] show updates

uninstall that update \ update tree, restart your computer.

I did some searching around the web, and it seems the solution is to remove the update, and reinstall it again. This is one of the forums I found the answer
