    Unless you are willing to live with your OS the way it is now, then a clean re-install of Windows is called for... You can try running a full scan with your Anti-Virus and see if that helps, but it looks like you have a decision to make... sorry I couldn't be of more help..

    Haha indeed. I am now looking into illegal allternatives if anybody knows of any . I need it to get my antivirus working again, fingerprint reader, etc. I don't wanna get ban from this great forum though :)

    I hate to double post but i know why I cant do a repair install it's because I need a genuine OS to upgrade! Anybody know a work around?
