    Help with Windows Update

I'm having a problem with the windows update kb977165. It isn't the same problem as with everyone else of not booting. The problem is in the font. Every letter looks extremely pixelated. I wanted to see how I can delete the update since it doesn't appear in the installed updates window but it does appear in the update history. I tried system restoring but somehow it continues to appear and even windows update tells me that a new update (Security Update for Microsoft windows KB977165) is available for download even though it still appears in the update history. Anyone know what to do?

Sometimes in update history are false information. That mean you've never installed this hotfix.Read this Windows Blue Screens of Death After Patch for 17-Year Old Vulnerability Is Applied - MS10-015 - Softpedia
I suggest hide this hotfix and contact with MS Support
