    Windows Update

    Hello all....:)

For those of you that are able; check WU.

I have it set to "check and notify" but I've received no notification about an update. Mine was only a defender update; but if it didn't notify me about that, it may not notify 'us' about an important update.

    Just a heads up!

Same thing here...in fact I don't think it has ever alerted me despite the settings.

    Hello all.

Yes mine was up to date previously, because it was just a few days that I re-installed. The first thing I did was check WU even before I activated the install.

I also just booted to Vista and there were six "core" type updates available for Vista and just as many important type updates for Office 2007. Also there was an update available for Comodo.

I also have the option to check but not download. As you can see, I am using Office 2007 and 2003 so the updates for thoes two programs are included, but I am not having any problems. This lot was thrown at me when I switched on yesterday, for example. There were a few more, off the attachment, but you can see my update service is very healthy!

We are getting the updates OK - it's just that WU isn't notifying like it's supposed to.

    Hello Dave.

As you can see I have a healthy update history also. But as yours; they were all installed at the same time when I re-installed the OS; except the last one, which brought about this thread.

I see. I should have emphasised that I am getting the usual notification that the updates are ready.
