Okay, this will sound weird but, I can't seem to find the WAT update when I look at the update screen. I didn't install it when it came out while waiting to see if it caused issues. I purposely had it hidden and I never have my system set to auto install updates as I like to see and choose what I want installed, especially when it comes to drivers and such. I just looked at the hidden updates and it is not there nor does it show as installed... thoughts?

I wonder if MS withdrew it?

I don't know, I'm positive it was there yesterday......... does the MGAdiag program show if it was installed as well? I would like to see if anyone else had it hidden and now can't find it...

I installed WAT. I have not installed MGAdiag. I would like to know the answer to your question also.

On a different post about the WAT...

" You can manually start it from the task scheduler-windows-windows activation technologies-and run the validationtask.

Edit: or you can validate it on the MS site-it uses the same method and database."

I looked in that place and that validationtask does not exist on my system....

Very interesting. I am interested to see what is going on with that. Hopefully some of the really knowledgeable guys will see this and chime in.

Yes, WAT is in Task Scheduler.

I did not know that. Then it must have been released for North America. Many on this forum in Europe reported they could not see the update.
