Vista updates applicable to Windows 7?

I have upgraded from Vist Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate. I had a few updates that i got while i was having Vista and were shown in my Add/Remove Programs. Here they are:

ESU for Microsoft Vista (2 instances)

Security Update for MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB954430)

    MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (KB927978)

    MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (KB973688)

Now i want to ask, as I have upgraded to 7 now, do i still require these updates or should I remove them?

These updates are common for Vista and WIndows 7 and you should install them

You can keep these updates, yes. However, you can uninstall the ESU update. It means essential system updates (though they really aren't that essential...=.=) Keep the MSXML updates. You can imagine them as......an optional pack for your computer..... they won't do anything bad I promise...:) They are used for visual studio, I believe. You could remove them.....if you want.

If you don't like ESU for Vista just completely remove it,no ESU then any updates relate to it will never appear

You're on windows 7, so esu for vista....is unnecessary.

Well i have already uninstalled the ESUs, as it was common sense that they were vista specific, anywaz, i was concerned over the MSXMLs, uninstalled one of them, and now windows update dont even show them. What if i want to get them back?

You don't, because they are for programmers only =) you will need to manually install them if you ever want them back.
