After running Windows7 ultimate for some weeks without problem,I obeyed the Activation message.
After this the work I have saved including my website files have vanished it's as though the Activation has reset to an earlier period.
Hours of work have vanished,to where i know not!
Help would be appreciated

I doubt that activation has changed anything. I do not doubt that there is a problem, but I doubt that it was activation
Use the above software and report back. If the problem still exists, I will try to help.
Weird happening,I booted the PC today and all the'missing' files and desktop shortcuts are back!
This was despite several re boots yesterday.
I caught a glimpse of a mention of'crash dump' as the PC booted.
Anyhow I will have to see what happens next.
