What you wish from santa Service Pack 1?

I personally wish...
a) Microsoft Security Essentials with advanced and more functions, with good firewall embedded like most popular internet security suites.

b)Add/remove with advanced and more functions like revo unistaller.

c)Better/faster Backup and restore with more advanced options like norton ghost.

d)DirectX updater with scheduled etc.

e)Tweak to disable/enable,add/remove things from right click menu, make changes in the windows etc.

I cant remember anything else for the moment but i am sure i will edit the thread.

Windows 7 Ultimate X64 SP1

1) the ability to remove old programs from the list of options in the notification area rather than them being there for ever (hope that makes sense)

2) the ability to recognise it doesnt need to do a backup as soon as you have restored from a system image, its just pointless because the new image will be identical

Only minor annoyances nothin i can't live with, but still

@OP: they wont put a firewall with MSE because as far as they are concerned that's what Windows Firewall is for,

I don't expect much in the way of new functionality - just a roll up of previous updates.
I just hope we don't end up will the SP actually causing new problems

I would like to see better audio performance.

And a fix for the occasional Windows Explorer crash.

just thought of something else... the ability to open more than 12 files at a time, (i know it sounds odd that i would need to open that many, but was installing the gf's sims 3 back on the other night and went to do the custom content, we're talking well over 600 files, having to be done 12 at a time

and the ability to minimise all windows in a "stack" example: 2 tabs of IE open makes a stack of 2 on the taskbar, if its a single icon you just double click it to minimise, doesnt work with multiple window stacks
