    Updates Not working


    Whenever either my computer automatically updates or i do it myself it asks to restart which is normal but then once it try's to boot back up again it says that it cant because something i have downloaded has changed my software/hardware and windows is unable to boot up, It has done this twice now and it is quite frustrating because i have to reinstall everything on my computer (-my image) and i work off of my computer so that not helping the situation either. Is there any way to turn off automatic updates or all the updates all together?

    You can set windows updates with various options.

    1) Automatic updates which you have now.
    2) Download updates for me but let me choose when to install them.
    3) Notify me but dont automatically download or install.
    4) Turn off automatic updates.
