If you cannot find the “Find Now,” “Stop,” and “Clear All” buttons in the Group Policy Management Console snap-in on a computer that is runningWindows 7or Windows Server 2008 R2 then you may want to apply this hotfix from Microsoft.
Consider the following scenario:
In this scenario, you notice that the following buttons are missing on the Custom Search and Advanced tabs:
- You have a computer that is running Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows 7.
- You connect to a domain controller by using the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) snap-in.
- You edit a Group Policy setting and configure the Item-level targeting option.
- You select Organizational Unit as the targeting item.
- You open the Find Custom Search dialog box to add an organizational unit (OU).
Therefore, you cannot use the condition list to filter and find specific OUs.
