im having troubles activating my windows 7 home premium

i bought a legal version, and have used it once before and had no problems with it but now it wont work. it keeps giving me all these different error codes and i cant get a real answer to why it wont work.
when i bought it the guy at the shop said i can use it an unlimited amount of times so i really dont know whats going on with it, and im sure the code i am entering is for the disk that i have entered to be installed.
any advice would be magnificent, thanks.

    There are several possibilities

First, it might be an OEM version. they are tied to hardware. If the hardware changes they wont activate (you have to call ms)

If you bought it form "a guy" chances are it is not legal.

Are you now trying to install 64 bit when before it was 32, or the other way around?

[QUOTE=malibu2oo7;760871]i tried to install the 64 bt when i got the windows 7 home [premium but it wouldnt let me, dont remember why, so i had to do the 32 bit instead. would that have anything to do with it? would you suggest installing the other disk and seeing if that helps?
    thanks for your help!!

If your computer does not have a 64bit processor, you will have to install the 32bit version of Windows 7... Try installing the 32bit version and let us know how it comes out.... Let us know if you need any help...
