Great reason to not buy Windows 7 on ebay

    2 red flags comes to mind. Ultimate for $89? Right. And you bought it on scam bay. That does suck though. So many people will be screwed as MS blacklists more and more keys due to tons of people doing this. It just took them a few months to do it.

    Yes there are definitely power sellers on ebay that do sell the correct, unregisterd, legit software, and there are others that don't. When it arrives, in in doubt, contact the seller, report it to ebay and request payback from paypal (if used) stating that the product is counterfeit or wrong condition, etc...

    I purchased my Windows 7 Premium on Ebay.co.uk for £79.99 and i can assure you its a Legit copy so please dont tar everyone with the same brush, Its absolute nonsense to do that.Mines was sealed etc and not tampered with in any way.

    Add Craigslist to the list of places that you shouldn't buy software from. There's a guy here advertising Win7 + Office 2007 for $60.00. You know that ain't right. But people will buy and then scream when they find out they got scammed.
