    Just a couple of things.

    1) That key is a known key only because it is the Acer OEM SLP key for win7 home premium. Nothing sinister about that. Every legit OEM Acer machine that came with home premium installed will have that key.

    2) Now, I suspect it is not Best Buy which is upto any tricks but rather the OP for the following reasons:

--It is completely unbelievable that best Buy or any other established retailer would yank off the COA sticker. More likely, this machine came with Vista preinstalled, hence no valid win7 COA key exists for it.

--from the mgadiag text posted above, I noticed that bios details (manufacturer, version, date) are missing. Since they are normally present in mgadiag reports, no reason why they shouldnt be there in this case too.

--Theres one more interesting data there but I'll refrain from going into that since its dangerous territory.

Hey! We have been nice. You obviously have an illegal copy of Windows 7 and we have tried to help you. If you really have been burned by Best Buy go to them and they will fix it. If you have cheated Microsoft then we have no pity for you. Become legal.
