    If you been running 7 for some time and you can do a clean install and it functions properly before doing updates, then your post suggest there's a problem with one of the updates. Of course if that was the case this forum would be flooded with similar post which is not the case.

    I'd try to do another clean install and then do only a few updates at a time (and no MS drivers) until you find the culprit.

    Otherwise it's time to start testing hardware...

    or could it be that I modified the iso of windows 7 using vlite?
