Huh? I just installed it today. The beta. Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Beta | Download, Evaluate and Get Resources
Download and look in here and see if you find any mention of it: Download details: Documentation for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 Beta (KB976932)
Kthx. "aero" not found in any of the 3 files. I wouldn't even know what I'd be looking for unless it said point blank "the aero vulnerabilty we warned you about several months ago". Maybe noone answer this unless you have a helpful response, and more than no knowledge of Win7 SP1 and the as-of-yet-unpatched aero vulnerability.
What kind of a response is that?
I doubt anyone will be able to give you a solid answer as to if it's been included in the most recent SP1 yet.
Your closest bet would be to take the time to look through what updates it does include in the documentation and see if you can find it.
Don't be rude, you won't get help with anything.
Well I received this patch just today through Windows update with the SP1 Beta already installed.
So it wasn't included in the released SP1 that I downloaded and installed yesterday, like that cnick6 says in that post.
