Facing update problem

Yes it was reset. but it did not update.It showed the error 80072ee2.
I hope you can help me by reading my 18 th post.
Please help.
I am facing anther problem.I cannot uninstall Window live one care safety scanner from 'control panel uninstall a programme'.May I delete the folder 'windows live safety centre' from the programme file(x86) to get rid of that?

Can you explain what do you mean by 'try install missing updates from Microsoft Download Center (not from Windows Updates)'

Check in Update history with whom updates you have trouble.Next go this site Microsoft Download Center: Download Category Search Results
search updates what you need,download & install them manually

I canot uninstall Window live one care safety scanner using the software mentioned by you. I delete the folder 'windows live safety centre' from the programme file(x86) to get rid of that.

Today I observed an unusual phenomena.When I typed ipconfig /all in command prompt I got the following.

My macid seems to be chaned automatecally.How is it possible.Earlier the entire output was different. No Tunnel adapter was there.
Is this problem somehow related to my window update problem?
I am using a university wifi connection.

I forgot to inform you about one important things.This tool does not elevate privilliges automaticaly in Vista/Windows 7. To run this tool properly you have to right click on this file and choose:"run as admin"

I don't think it is any seriously issue,if you want go to device manager,in options check "show hiden devices", go to network adapters section and remove all repeated devices i.e

Microsoft 6to4 Adapter #18

and other similar,leave only by one type (without number)

These network adapters are not phisical cards.They are only network drivers (MS drivers).On many machines you can find similar erorrs but as I said before in mostly cases it's not any serious issue.

In your I can't see in your log real phisical card but I think is there everything OK.

Have you tried already download & install updates from Microsoft Download Center?

I am using a university wifi connection.

Based on my experience, the issue may also be related to the firmware of the router. Therefore, I would like to suggest that you also check your router manufacturer’s website and check if there is any upgrade version of firmware.

This may not be the problem with Windows updates but it does show that either your eithernet drivers or the firmware of your router is not compatible with the IPv6 protocol. I would try to fix this problem then reset Windows updates and try again.
