    License Question

    Hi All,

I intend to purchase a new computer in the near future without an operating system.

My question is if I buy a full retail version of Win 7 Pro or Ultimate to use on my present 32bit computer will I be able to use the 64bit version on my new computer when I get it.

I know I cannot use both versions of Win 7 at the same time so I plan to revert to XP on my old computer.

The rule is one computer at a time. You can put it on as many computers as you like; one at a time. You can use 32 bit or 64 bit one at a time

You could consider a multi-license purchase if you really want it on multiple PC's.

Thanks BugOutMachine but it is just for the new computer when I get it. Just trying to ease the learning curve by using it on my current computer whilst waiting for the new one. At my age learning is best, if done a little bit at a time.

Buy 2 OEM licenses. That adds to about the same as one full license.
