bootrec/fixmbr (put mbr boot code in first sector of physical disk). A small piece of code that searches for partition marked ACTIVE and loads that partition first sector and runs it. It loads a file called bootmgr (the boot manager) that in turn loads the boot menu \boot\bcd file. bootmgr and bcd are on C.

    Win7 itself is on D

X is a ramdisk. A virtual disk in memory.... the recovery mini windows environment.

X and C are not important now. C is just the bootmanager and boot menu and working fine. C can be reconstructed anyway! No important data is there.

Only important thing is D (it's what called C in windows7). The dates of windows files are quite normal as well.

Root cause is still "corrupt registry"?

    In win7 recovery environment
    Code:
    chkdsk/f c:
    chkdsk/f d:
No errors? All errors repaired? If repaired... run it agin to prove no more errors.

bootrec/scanos and rebuildbcd only scans for new win7 installations not in boot menu yet. That's why it found nothing.... it's in the menu already

#19 describes how to backup the 232GB volume. And how to restore important files later of you want to.
You have win7 Home Premium (64 bits because you have syswow64 folder)?

Install ISO is here Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River « My Digital Life
so take in case of Home Premium:
Windows 7 Home Premium SP1-U ISO
    English x64: X17-58997.iso

Do a clean install in case of unrepairable corrupt registry
    Clean Install Windows 7
Best thing to do first is format the 232GB partition first (now called D in recovery environment).
You have a valid product key? It's on a COA sticker on laptop.https://www.google.nl/search?q=coa+s...w=1366&bih=597

    COA=Certificate Of Authenticy

    In recovery environment command prompt:
    Code:
    diskpart
    select disk 0
    list part
    exit
Only a 100MB partition and 232GB partition? No recovery partition?

No recovery partition as well? Did somone else clean install win7 already previously? Or did you buy machine configured as it is now? Or did you upgrade from vista?
