The computer is windows 7 X64, 16 GB ram, 1 tera hard drive, HP 1015 and 8600 printer. I have the latest printer drivers for both printers.
Ok mate so if the drivers didn't work anything then no more I can do as I still do not know what your system specs are what you have posted is the very bare essentials.
If I am going to contribute anymore then I / we need info on the CPU Motherboard etc etc not much to ask really.

I have tried Reset low integrity level on the Low folder by cmd and typing - "ICACLS %temp%\Low /setintegritylevel (OI)(CI)low and restarted computer. This did not change anything.

I also did the sfc and this did not report any violations.
Thanks, I'll look at the CBS log, but if no integrity violations were reported, there's probably not much in there.

Members have asked you to flesh out the information on your system. If you really want members to help, you have to help them help you. Troubleshooting computer issues requires detailed information, there are any number of reasons why your machine exhibits this behavior.

Without details, all anyone can do is guess - that rarely solves the problem.

The same holds true for actions you take. It is important to provide feedback in the form of screen shots or actual results as you did with the CBS.log. It isn't enough to simply say I tried XYZ and it didn't work

Remember, we can't see what you see - a small typo can make the difference between success and failure. I've worked with other members on issues where the other member said It didn't work and when they finally posted a screen shot, it was apparent that they forgot a space between the command and the parameter - that's why it didn't work!

Please add your SF Systems Specs by following this tutorial: System Info - See Your System Specs
    • In the System Manufacturer/Model Number field, manually type Desktop or Laptop adding it to the information already in the field.
    • Specify Custom Build as the manufacturer if it is not an OEM machine.
    • The tool does not fill in this information but it is very important if someone has to research drivers or hardware for your machine.
Log on to Sevenforums (SF) and let the tool fill in you System specs on your SF profile.

Full instructions are in the tutorial. It's a simple process and it makes that information readily available on your posts. You don't have to retype the information in any thread.

Click here to view your system specs on SevenForums.

Click on My System Specs in the lower left of any post by any member to see what is presented about their machine.

Please follow this tutorial to provide the current operating environment of your machine.
Speccy - Publish Snapshot of your System Specs

I will hold off posting more suggestions until I can see details on your system. No sense wasting more of your time on guesses.

    Thanks,

    Bill

Hmmm, there are some things in the CBS.log that I don't quite understand.

They might be nothing, but I'll ask for help from a member more versed in SFC to look at it.
