    IE 11 will not open

I used IE 11 yesterday no concerns. Today when I try to open asks me if I want to restore previous session???? then window appears and says it is closing down. I am not sure if there was an update for adobe flash player. In the end I re-installed IE 11 still has some problem. Any aadvice would be most appreciated

    Thank you

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
I believe there was an update to flash yesterday or the day before ?
Not sure how to deal with it besides disabling it ?
    Click Start and Control panel,
    Internet options/ Programs section/ Manage add-ons
Show all should be already selected on the bottom left column and Toolbars and extensions page,
Click on Shockwave element and click on Disable,
Remove the shortcuts you usually use,
Right click delete desktop/ or Right click and Unpin this item from Taskbar,

    See what this does,
Use No Add-ons mode/ Click the Start button and type in the search box,
    Internet explorer

Click on the suggestion (No Add-ons) or it’s located at,
    Start/ All programs/ Accessories folder/ System tools folder/ No add-ons.

If using ie10-11 the first link will apply to ie9 as well,

Activate EPM if on a 64 bit version of windows,

Add the Run box to the Start menu list,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/559-start-menu-add-run-button.html
Open the Run command and Paste this into it and Okay,
    "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff

Hi and thank you for the feedback :)
Did any of them work and if so which one ?
We can explore the issue a bit more and see if we can narrow down the actual cause
    Cheers.
